Over 3 billion people live on less $2.00 a day, and over 1 billion suffer from chronic hunger. Even worse, many don't have access to the resources necessary to improve their daily lives. Too many people in our world today suffer from a lack of sufficient food, water, shelter or basic financial services.
We know there are many challenges that exist in solving these problems -- unstable or corrupt governments, lack of knowledge, and limited access to resources, to name a few -- but we believe in the strength of the human spirit and the willingness of people around the world to come together, share ideas and help their fellow man.
